Trendy, health-conscious Sydneysiders head to laid-back cafes around Hall Street, while hip backpackers frequent the area's casual pubs. Walkers and joggers use the clifftop Bondi-to-Coogee Coastal Walk, with its dramatic scenery; and North Bondi is all about art deco facades and ultra-modern designer apartments that lend it a trendier, more exclusive reputation than its southern counterpart, as does its array of sartorial boutiques and restaurants that tend to name themselves with single syllables.
