    Enjoy a hearty breakfast and drive into Auckland City to explore its sights and sounds. Your first stop should be the Sky Tower. The sky-high viewing deck here offers expansive views of the entire city.

    Next, drive down the breezy coastal road, driving past Mission Bay, Cliff Road and then onto Ladies Bay, address of the rich and famous of New Zealand.

    Drive to the Michael Josef Savage Memorial for picturesque views of the city, the Harbour and Rangitoto Island. Continue driving till you reach the centre of the city and the highest point in Auckland - Mt. Eden, for a 360-degree bird's-eye view of New Zealand's largest city. Auckland is visible in all its urban glory here, the city's sprawl sandwiched between two harbours - Waitemata and Manukau. You must stand on the rim of Mt. Eden's volcanic crater and get a photograph taken - not many people can boast of having stood at such an exotic location!

    Later, proceed towards Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty. On arrival, check in at your hotel.

Spend the second half of your day in Coromandel exploring the wonderful Cathedral Cave (if weather conditions permit), or do beach-and-ocean things like sunbathing in the Bay.

Enjoy a tour of the thermal reserve, remarking at the many boiling mud pools, hot springs and geysers.

    Later, drive to Agrodome to enjoy the world famous Agrodome Sheep Show, a spectacle that puts 19 breeds of sheep on display.

    Finish off breakfast and drive down to Lake Taupo, one of the largest lakes in New Zealand. Taupo is a quaint lake-side town that's a great location to kick back and relax. However, it also attracts a lot of adventure-sport enthusiasts. After a fun day at Taupo, head back to Rotorua.

    On your way back, make a pit stop at Lake Taraweera at the foothills of the volcano, Mt. Taraweera, which last erupted 1885 and created two beautiful lakes in the process - the Blue Lake and the Green Lake.

    Enjoy breakfast and drive down to Milford Sound; the route will take you through the supremely picturesque Eglinton Valley. Arrive at Milford Sound, park your car and head for a spectacular two-hour cruise through what is arguably New Zealand's most epic waterway. Milford Sound is a truly gorgeous fjord, home to Mitre Peak, one of the highest mountains in the area, and the Sterling and Bowen Falls. As your cruise takes you out to the mouth of Tasman Sea, you might get lucky and spot seals and dolphins surfing the bow wave of the boat.
    Once back on land, hit the road for Queenstown. Arrive and check-in at your hotel.

    Today is a day for adventure: gobble up breakfast (you may want to keep it light) and drive down to the world famous Kawarau Bungee Bridge, often referred to as the mother of all bungees. Get yourself harnessed and plunge towards the clear waters of the Kawarau River. (This activity is optional).

    Thereafter, drive down to the Gibbston Valley Winery to see its vineyard as well as the process of wine-making.

    Later, drive down to Arrowtown, a historic town that came into existence during and on account of New Zealand's gold rush. The Arrow River flows besides the town, hiding rich gold reserves under its cool, flowing waters; you can try your luck scouring the river bank for gold nuggets (we wouldn't be too optimistic) or visit the gold shop to buy artistic gold jewellery.

    Note: Drivers should abstain from the wine-tasting at Gibbston Valley Winery.

After the ride, drive back the hotel.
